Files on iPhone

Hi All,

I hope someone might be able to help!

I ticked “iCloud” and unticked “phone” from locations in my Files app -by mistake! However, I’m not actually using iCloud, it’s deactivated. Now all my files are gone, or at least I cannot see/access them any longer.

How can I reverse this as “phone” has disappeared from locations???

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks in advance!

If you want On My iPhone back in the overview. Open the Files app, tap Browse in the bottom menu, and tap the Action button in the top right corner. Tap Edit and enable On My iPhone.

You can also set all future Downloads to be downloaded locally on your iPhone, and not iCloud here:

SettingsSafariDownloads → select On My iPhone
