Change a Home notification sound?

I have been trying shortcuts, automations, anything I can think of to try to ring a doorbell sound on my iPhone when the doorbell is pressed at my front door.

The best I can do is create an automation that senses motion at my front door bell/camera and instruct it to play a song which I have recorded that is the sound of a doorbell.

Trying to get those simple instructions in an automation or shortcut has been driving me out of my mind!

I can tell it to turn on the light, or at least I can set the instructions to do so, but the light never turns on, either.

Has anyone experimented with automations enough to discover how limited the menu items are?

Any suggestions?

If I can't get that to work, at least I should be able to change the notification sound when someone does activate the doorbell. At this point, all I get is a very subtle notification tone. There is nowhere I can find to change that.

Again, any suggestions?

I have a Logitech because it works hand-in-hand with the home app. I thought that would be helpful, instead of restricting.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the notification sounds in the Home app. The best option is if the Doorbell you use has its own app where it is possible to change the ringtone? I use Ring camera, they have their own app where I can set an individual ringtone depending on which camera detects motion.

I also tried to look in the Shortcuts app for an automation, and I can't find one which activates when HomeKit accessories are activated. I can only make shortcuts. Shortcuts cannot be used to solve your problem.
