video glitching when Mission Control and Apple TV enabled

One week old 16" Mac Book Pro / M2 Pro was replaced due to video glitching when Mission Control was enabled and while using Apple TV. Took the week old computer back to Mac store and the friendly staff exchanged it after I was able to replicate the issue while at the store. Seems that if you enable MC (mission control) and Apple TV at the same time, and you minimize Apple TV, it creates a rapid flickering effect on the display - particularly over the minimized Apple TV icon. It will also do rapid flickers on the edges of other open windows. The top menu bar will turn a Hot Pink and alternate between that color and its normal color. This second computer (replacement) does the same thing! I just finished setting it up and tested MC with Apple TV and , sure enough, flickering like crazy. Another issue I noticed on both brand new Macs: when watching videos, the black levels are waaaaay too dark (specially during dim lit scenes) this is both true for Apple TV and YouTube videos. 2 out of 2 is way too much of a coincidence.

Hi,

I finally found someone who has the same problem. I took my 4 days old MacBook Pro M2 Pro back to the store, they changed motherboard and told me it should not be flickering anymore. When I got home got it all set up one more time it did the same thing once again using Apple TV or Netflix it only happens in Mission Control when stage manager is enabled. I gave them a call they told me it can't be hardware issue it must be software. Did you maybe found the possible cure to the problem otherwise only thing we have to do is wait for newest macOS update at least 13.3.2 💀
