Unable to fix dark screen issues in Apple TV app on MacBook Air

There seemed to be a thread about many Apple TV App users having issues with brightness and the movie experience being very dark.

I run a M2 Macbook Air with the Sequoia 15.3 OS.

I have just come across that same issue watching the SciFi series "Foundation".

There are many people who were looking for a fix and there was also the work-around by using Chrome in order to view via the Apple TV website.

Now I have a fix that may help you as it did for me:

Go to the Apple System Settings (not the Apple TV one!) and go to Accessibility.

Find Display within Accessibility and within there you will find a Contrast slider.... slide it all the way to the left to the 'normal' side (I found my slider was one step up from 'normal').

See if that sorts the issue, cheers.
