MDM Remote Admin Supervision

Hello,

How do I locate the Remote Admin and MDM that’s on my iPhone 13 Pro? I’ve never been under proper remote management or MGM and there’s no one with authority to do that. I have notifications in the device, notifications at various sites, notices about Supervision and most of what’s in my iPhone flags as not private also. I also have activity on my iPhone that is not mine Such a screenshots going to files into newly created files, constant resets, regardless of what I’m doing on the phone, or if I’m on it, apps that come and go, areas of my iPhone that I now know should be there, my settings change and it resets constantly. There is no information in settings<general or elsewhere I can find in settings. It’s really making ownership difficult as it privacy is an issue and constant loss of data/information as well it goes into super slow, thick feeling keyboard mode and starts to get warm, it’s hard to even use. Thank you very much, any assistance or information is appreciated.

There’s nothing in VPN & Device Management or anywhere else. I’ve reset a few times and it’s not been removed but are you referring to reset through Settings>General when you said emergency reset? There’s been a flurry of small advisory notices in the device as of under a week ago but no information that applies directly to my iPhone. It’s becoming more compromised in that there are more areas that I cannot edit, view or delete, such as Shortcuts in the Apps.

If you're talking about CVE-2022-46690 which was patched in December, it's extremely unlikely that anyone not in a high level government role was affected (if anyone even was. There is no evidence or reports of affected devices in the wild). Lockdown mode also renders attacks like this inoperable.

CVEs occur in every technology platform. Most of them never receive a rating high enough to merit even a passing mention in the patch notes. This particular vector was listed as a 7, which is high and needs a patch, but is not critical or widespread concern.

If this vulnerability concerns you, you can wipe your device, set it up again as a new device, and before logging in to any services or accounts, enable Lockdown mode.
