Active Energy won’t Activate in BetterMe App.

I have tried to activate active health in my BetterMe app. It won’t show me ongoing trends without it on. I have googled it and turned on active health in BetterMe. I have also went into settings, turned on the applicable options in the health, fitness and watch apps. They all are on but active health automatically turns off once I’m done. I’m really hoping there’s a solution as I would like to track my trends and my workouts show up as 0 calories burned in BetterMe. Thanks!
