Keyboard suggest shows only "Hide my email" and not my email address in Gmail ios app and Safari

When I use the Gmail ios app, and I click "to" to fill in the email recipient, the only suggested email addresses that appear at the top of the keyboard are two tabs, both with "Hide my email." I've had the same problem in Sarafi too. See picture. Please help, super frustrating, and search all over the internet to no avail. This only started after the last ios update.
