All home hubs stuck in standby

Starting about 6 months ago and becoming more and more frequent when I leave home in the morning my automation scenes fail to run. It’s always because all of my home hubs are in standby. A reboot of the devices usually brings one back to connected. This is starting to happen more and more frequently, multiple times per week to the point that I can no longer rely on HomeKit for camera or lock access. I’m fully up to date on 16.4

At least one hub should be “connected”. You could Upgrade to the new Home architecture - Apple Support but this won’t work if you or other family members have older devices that can’t use iOS 16. Once you upgrade, there’s no going back.

I’ll give that a try, all my devices are running the latest OS.

yes I do understand that one home hub must be connected. It’s that some communication is breaking down in which all home hubs are in standby thinking another home hub is active? Sometimes unplugging one and leaving it unplugged will work, HomeKit recognizes a home hub is offline and then one of the standby hubs switches to connected.
