Saving iPhone photos to a Mac file

I like having a separate backup file on my Mac for each one of my cameras. I would also like to combine and organize all of my various cameras' photos into Apple Photos. Is there a way to be able to separate out the iPhone photos from Apple Photos so I can save them to a iPhone-only backup file on my Mac? It seems that once I combine all of my cameras' photos into Apple Photos and it auto-uploads to iCloud, there is no way to isolate just the photos taken by my iPhone so I can back up only them into my iPhone backup file. We have been taking many iPhone photos and Canon digital photos at the same time on our quest to visit all of the National Parks, so combining and organizing them into Apple Photos works well for viewing our trips in one place. I would just like to find out a way to also backup the iPhone photos to their own separate backup file.

Thank you so much for the quick reply.

Will that include the mov files as well? And will I lose any metadata when I export the unmodified files?

Never mind- I just tested a jpeg and a mov file both ways and it seems that the file sizes are exactly the same so I'm assuming that all of the metadata remains.

This definitely answers my question. Thanks again.
