Saving and Deleting photos

(Background) I was at a concert and took many pictures. My storage was getting full so I deleted them and recovered them once I got home.

I Airdropped all my pictures to my MacBook and want to delete these pictures on my Iphone, as my photos is taking up over 21GB with 1,000 pictures. I was deleting the photos I on my phone to save space but by deleting the pictures deletes on my MacBook.

How do I delete the photos from my phone without it affecting my Mac? And is possible to do this just for these specific photos and then it can carry on syncing to my Mac from my phone in future?

As long as both your iPhone and your Mac are syncing with iCloud Photos, deleting a photo from your iPhone will delete it from iCloud Photos and your Mac as well.

You could export the photos you want to remove from your iPhone on your Mac to a folder outside the Photos Library. Create a second Photos Library on your Mac, where you are storing the Photos, that you do not want on your iPhone. Then you can delete the photos from your iPhone without losing them from your Mac.
