iCloud storage not updated on family phone

one of the phones on my family sharing plan won't update to the larger iCloud storage

It sounds like you one of your family members is not seeing shared iCloud storage, and we'd like to help.


Can you provide a little more information about what you are experiencing?


  • Are you the organizer of this Family Sharing group?


  • Did you recently upgrade the amount of iCloud storage shared with the Family?


  • Is this Family member 13 years or younger?


  • Is this Family member using a separate Apple ID account (not shared with anyone else in the group?)


  • Which iPhone does the Family member have and what iOS is running on it?


Your responses to these questions will help us understand the issue better and work towards a resolution with you.


We suggest this Family member backs up their iPhone, updates to iOS 16.4, and then tries to access iCloud storage again.
