studio display kvm

I am trying to set up the display with a KVM so I use my dell lap top as well as mac mini with a single key board and mouse and a simple way to switch between the computers without unplugging cables.

Studio display. KVM directly into studio display. And two usb-c wires from kvm to both my work dell laptop and the MacBook. Button on the kvm switches to either computer after about 3-5 seconds. Use the wires it comes with and be sure to plug the kvm into a mains. It won’t work if you try to use the display as a power source

I'm having this problem two but with LG UltraFine 27" 5K monitors

I read they are similar in terms of the displayPort connection challenge using KVM's or non Apple devices for display.

Can we confirm its the same problem and solution?

Also I cannot find this product anymore, appears to be out of stock for awhile now.

Hi - I have this switch, but the Apple Studio Display won't even see my Mac Book Pro through the connection let alone my Windows laptop. Can you confirm you have used this switch between a Mac PC and the Apple Studio Display? Thx
