My iphone is showing only remind me and slider to answer the call in full screen but no message option

My iphone 13 with latest ios is showing only remind me and slider to answer the call in full screen but no message option.

Its been more than 13months that i bought this mobile in India and using but surprisingly never saw message option in incoming call so that i can decline the call with message.

i have already restarted my phone and check phone settings as well but no help.

please advise if i’m missing any basic setting.

For something like this, please first try to restart and update your iPhone:

It is also suggested to Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad.

Check the contact record on your phone. If the phone number isn't set to either iPhone or mobile, you won't be able to reply with a message because the phone believes the call is coming from a landline, which can't receive text messages of any kind.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick and valuable suggestion however contacts are already saved as “mobile” number and i am still not able to see the message option.

Curious to know if i may try something else to get it resolved. Your more help would be really appreciated.
