MagSafe charging not working IPhone 14 Pro Max

Just got a brand new IPhone 14 Pro Max 2 days ago, bought myself a brand new Apple 20w wall piece to go with the brand new MagSafe charger. Upon plugging it all in & trying to charge it just won’t, there no animation to say it’s charging, there’s no charging icon on the battery, nothing at all.

I’ve tried a hard reset of the phone, I’ve tried multiple plugs around the house, I’ve done everything short of resetting my iPhone which I don’t wish to do.
