what can i do? my phone lasts about 4 hours but i can’t bear it dying at 40%

I suspect you must have a battery issue with your phone.

could you please a screen shot of your battery health ? Settings -> Battery -> Battery health

maybe its a hardware problem....

try going to an Apple Store or a repair shop...

have you replaced your battery lately ?

You need either a new phone or get a new battery
