My child's apple watch location is not updating

I have an apple watch 8 for my daughter that is set up under my family. Whenever I go in to Find My it does not show her current location, but instead her location from the day prior, generally about 24-30 hours prior. The watch has its own cellular line on my AT&T plan, and I just recently unpaired and re-paired with my phone, removing the esim in the process and had to get that reassigned by the carrier. Everything else works for her in terms of messaging, weather using current location, calls, etc.

I've gone in to my family settings to ensure her location is being shared with me always, and I've turned on sharing my location with my family as well. I can't find any other settings that could possibly cause this, but it's frustrating as the whole point of the watch for us is to be able to see where she is.
