MacBookAir M2 Wifi Speed Issues

I just bought a new MacBook Air M2 machine and finished Migrating from my old MacbookAir early 2015.

I thought I would check the internet speed. It was well above 100mbps down on my old machine, but was showing 30-40 mpbs on the M2. Totally not acceptable. Even when I put the M2 near the router it was still around 30 or so.

I turned the Wifi off and back on and it jumped up to around 300 near the router. Then it went back down.

I was carrying the computer back and forth from the router area to the kitchen. Now all of a sudden it seems fine.

I am thinking the Wifi board (if there is one) or maybe the antenna connection to the Wifi was not fully seated and carrying it around may have seated it better. Just not comfortable after spending over 1.5K for a new computer.

Anyone else with Wifi issues like this on the M2?
