WindowServer memory leak on Intel iMac with Ventura

Does WindowServer have a memory leak ? Intel based iMac with Ventura and WindowServer memory usage increases over several days, even with no user apps in use, to the point where memory swapping becomes disruptive as WindowServer consumed 1Gb+ of memory. CPU usage seems not to be an issue.

windowserver high RAM usage I have an IMAC (M1) with 16GB of RAM. I noticed that when I check with Activity Monitor the RAM usage of window server is approx. 1gb (in a standard usage situation, iMac almost idle), on the top of the list. This is not giving me problems but does not see normal. I went to a Dept. Store and checked what happens to the iMac on display there through Activity Monitor. loginwindow and windowserver process takes up high memory I'm checking my process in Activity Monitor and it seems that loginwindow and windowserver are taking up quite a lot memory (currently about 6-700 MB, and with the highest I notice is up to 1-2 GB), which is quite high compared to my other heavy processes. When I restart the machine, these two process seems to lower its memory consumption, but very soon, it will continues to ramp up using memory. As I check with other Mac users, their Mac just consumes about several MB for those two processes. So, is it normal to have those two processes taking up too much memory like this?

Same here, iMac 2017, WindowServer memory at 7,29 GB. Every several minutes the Mac freezes getting the rainbow wheel and continues. Had no issues before Ventura, when do we get a fix for this?
