Mail keeps organizing by conversation

Something has happened in the last week where mail now organizes all emails by conversation. I've turned off the check mark on view, restarted in safe mode, and all of the other suggestions in the previous thread related to this issue posted back in Jan 2023. Why is this happening and is there a way to make it hold/remember the preference to not group by conversation. I'm missing tons of emails that are getting buried deep in my inbox.

MacBook Pro (M1, 2020)

These appears to a Oddity in the Mail Application

At least it appears to be and oddity on the 3 Machines I use

The " Why " I can not explain

In each of the Mail Folder one needs to Disable the " View by Conversation "

image One is of All the folder

image Two is of the Inbox where the " Organize by Conversation " is Off

Image Three is the Drafts folder and notice the " Organize by Conversation is Still enabled

An alternative, as you work thought this issue, would to use the " Expand All Conversations " for All folders ?
