Organise by Conversation in Mail not saving, Keeps turn back on

Hello,

In the Mail app on macOS I don't like how emails are grouped together. Makes it to hard to see what was sent and received and when. So I try to turn off "Organise by Conversation" in View menu, but it keeps coming back on. Is this normal behaviour. Why wouldn't this save when I open and close the app. I don't remember having to turn this on and off all the time I used the app.

Im using Ventura 13.1

Mail Version 16.0 (3731.300.101.1.3)

Not normal IMHO.

Perhaps the setup below may or may not help

With Mail Closed

Hold SHIFT key and launch Mail.

This is a Safe Launch of the application

Still issues >>

1 - Restart I the Computer in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading

3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?

4 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.

Still issue, please post back as reply and may have additional ideas to try and resolve this issue
