My phone keeps freezing while in my vehicle

Every time I am driving my apple maps and my whole phone itself keeps freezing up! I keep restarting my phone and nothing works. I have tried everything in the books and nothing works as well. Can someone please help me out with this issue? It is getting frustrating! I use apple maps for my daily job and nothing works. I have also tried google maps but my phone just freezes up while I am in my vehicle or any vehicle.
