Apple Maps freezes iPhone 14 - 512gb

This seems to be an ongoing problem - lots of posts and no solutions. When I’m using maps and navigating it basically tanks the entire phone. I can’t open up any other app and sometimes the apps, I just blank unresponsive, including safari apples on an app. I think it has something to do with the iPhone 14 always on display. We’re going on a massive trip and I need this to work. It’s so frustrating it’s happened multiple times over the past six months and it happens every time. I’m an iOS power user - rebooted phone, reinstalled Apple maps and also have the latest updates, etc.. the only thing I can do is do a full restore which I don’t wanna do because sometimes it messes up passwords, etc. Help!

—-Solution—— OK I see many responses from Apple support and nothing works a simple fix and it works 100% simply go into settings > display and brightness > scroll down and turn off “always on display”

Of course I could rant about how 30,000 Apple employees who are using maps never have this problem or why no Apple support people thought of this fix or how perhaps they all are using Google maps but I won’t. I won’t rant about it! Here is the fix, it works thank me and move on 👍👍👍
