I cannot figure out how to remove certain items that appear on my Notifications bar. I've tried disabling them and using the "delete" key to no avail. I've tried right-clicking as well, but it doesn't seem to help at all.
Is there anything I can do to remove these web-based items from my Notifications bar? [See below]

Yes. You will probably find them in Safari's Settings > Websites > Notifications, where you can remove them.
