Is it possible to hide the recording bar in OneNote when recording audio on iPad?

Is it possible to hide the recording bar in OneNote when recording audio on iPad? It's a big inconvenience that the recording bar takes up the center of the screen. This means that students can't read text in OneNote because the recording bar obstructs the text. It's also not possible to start recording audio and then go to another window for further recording because the recording stops as soon as the window leaves OneNote.

The only solution is to split the screen in two, but this is not an ideal solution for 1st grade. I know that the recording bar is an integral part of the audio recording function in OneNote and cannot be hidden or moved to another location on the screen...

Is there any solution to this?

If you are experiencing difficulties with third-party App functionality, you’ll need to seek assistance from the App Developer. For OneNote, this will be Microsoft.
