Home Sharing Not Working

I have two PC's attached to the same wi-fi network. Home Sharing is turned on, on both PC's. All my music is on one PC and I want to listen to this music when I work on my other PC. I open iTunes on the second PC and I select the library that is held on the other PC. Everything loads up (playlists, songs etc.) but I cannot get anything to play. If I select a Playlist it comes up with the name etc. but there is no music in there. If I select 'songs' instead of a Playlist, all the songs come up, but clicking on them or right clicking and saying 'play next' has no effect? Anyone help?

Hello LAP1306,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that Home Sharing isn’t working as expected on your computer. We are happy to help.

These steps may help. Please try the steps here: Use Home Sharing to share media from a computer to other devices - Apple Support

"Use Home Sharing on your PC

You can use Home Sharing to stream music, movies, and TV shows from one authorized computer to another. Just make sure that your computers are powered on, awake, and have the Music app or iTunes for Windows open.

To see all of your shared libraries, click  Music in the upper-left corner of the iTunes window."

Let us know if you have further questions.

Take care.
