My Apple TV app will not play most videos I've selected. It keeps saying video not available and to check my internet connection if it continues. I've checked and done the troubleshooting through the Apple TV App. It seems to have an issue streaming on Apple's end. These are shows I've already started watching through my Roku, even hours before. I can pick a random show and it will play, but I can't play any I want to watch.

Hello Snoopy_TN,

If you're unable to watch or stream content in the Apple TV app, please check out the following link, which has some information and suggestions that may help correct that issue: If you can't watch or stream movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app

If the movie or TV show won't start playing

After each step, try to stream or download the movie or TV show again.

1. Check the System Status page for service interruptions or check a third-party provider's website for any interruptions. If there are service interruptions, try to stream or watch the video later.
2. If you're having trouble signing in with your Apple ID, you can reset your Apple ID password or learn how to get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication.
3. If your cellular connection is poor, connect to Wi-Fi instead.*
4. Try watching on a different device using the same Wi-Fi or cellular connection. If it doesn't work, contact your internet service provider to see if there's an issue with your network.
5. If other people are using Apple TV+ or Apple TV channels, make sure it doesn't exceed the limits for streaming on multiple devices.

* Make sure that your Wi-Fi router is 802.11a/g/n/ac compatible. Streaming HD content requires 8 Mbit/s or faster. Slower tiers of Wi-Fi connections might not be fast enough to stream HD video content.

Thank you.

I have done all those things, hence the reason I am seeking help. I then changed to using Air Play and streamed from my iPad. I watched 2 episodes. The next day, Apple TV app told me the videos are now in a format that can’t be streamed via Air Play. I can watch them on my iPad in the same location, but I can’t access any shows on Apple TV via my Roku, nor can I stream to the same tv using Air Play, which I was able to do the day before.

Just talked with Support. They couldn’t figure it out after I’ve done all the troubleshooting options. I can go to Hulu or Prime and watch with no issues. I can also watch AppleTV on my iPad. It just won’t stream correctly. Escalated to Toy. I repeated everything and she said nothing and then hung up on me. No call back, email or texts. Ridiculous. Terrible customer service. The least they could do is tell me they need to research and get back in touch and offer me a credit.
