Hello EOh217,
We have a great support article that might help with this. Please take a look at it here: About government and emergency alerts on Apple Watch - Apple Support. This specific guidance should help:
"Turn on Test Alerts for an Apple Watch you set up for a family member
If you set up an Apple Watch for a family member using Family Setup, you can use your iPhone to turn on Test Alerts for their watch:
- Make sure that the Apple Watch has the latest version of watchOS. For these steps, you need watchOS 8.4 or later.
- On the iPhone that you used to set up the Apple Watch, download the Test Alerts profile:
- Test Alerts profile
- Tap Allow. If you're asked to choose the device that you want to install the profile on, choose Apple Watch.
- Open the Settings app, then tap Profile Downloaded.
- Tap Install. Follow the onscreen instructions to finish installing the profile.
- After the profile is installed, on the Apple Watch, go to Settings > Notifications.
- Turn on Test Alerts.
To turn Test Alerts off, either:
- Go to Settings > Notifications and turn off Test Alerts.
- Go to Settings > General > Device Management and remove the profile."
We hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist with anything else at all. Take care.
