Apple Watch notifications showering wrong time stamp

Hey, I had my Apple Watch series 8 for about 2 months now, but I’m realizing whenever I use it to check notifications on the watch it shows the incorrect time when compared to my phone, is there a reason for this? And if so how to fix it? (I didn’t adjust my clock at all)

Hi Aria_sock,

For help with the time settings on your Apple Watch, check the settings below found in the article here to see if your Apple Watch was set to display ahead of the actual time. Change the time settings on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

"How to set your watch face ahead of the actual time

You can set the time shown on your watch face to appear ahead of the actual time. Your alarms, notifications, World Clock, and other times will still match the actual time.

  1. Open the Settings app on your watch, then tap Clock.
  2. Tap +0 min.
  3. Turn the Digital Crown and choose how many minutes ahead to set your watch.

4.Tap the Done button ."

You can also find helpful information here: Tell time on Apple Watch

If the issue continues, test a normal restart of both your Apple Watch and paired iPhone.

Cheers.
