Focus Corrupted my Wallpaper - How do I fix it?

I recently used Focus on my iPhone 16 (iOS 16). Now selecting my normal wallpaper turns Focus on. I've deleted the wallpaper and re-created it from the photo, but it re-creates as a Focus wallpaper automatically without my telling iOS to make it so. I created another wallpaper from a different photo and it does not turn Focus on. But if I use the photo I want, it creates a Focus wallpaper.

I've deleted my Focus schedules to no avail.

How do I unlink Focus from my wallpaper photo?

iPhone 14

I'm guessing here but...Try this:

Settings

Focus

Tap on the Focus that activates when you choose that wallpaper

Under "Customize Screens", select "Choose" by the iPhone's wallpaper. This should bring up a list of wallpapers attached to that Focus group.

See if there is one that is pre-selected, then unselect it (uncheck it).
