Pages not allowing pasting

I recently updated my laptop to macOS 13.2.1 and alongside that, I have updated my Pages app, which I use every day. I attempted to paste from Keynote to Pages (as I do frequently), which the copying worked, but the pasting didn't. I am able to paste on all other platforms, just not pages. It's not in Page Layout mode, and I have tried doing so with text boxes, etc. I have restarted my computer, quit Pages and started it back up again and nothing seems to be working. Is there anything else I can do?

Would you be able to let us know more about what's going on when you try to paste into Pages? Let us know exactly what you see occurring, this way we can provide you the best information that we can to help. I am using Pages v12.2.1 on macOS Ventura 13.2.1. I have no issue copy/pasting a text box from Keynote 12.2.1 into Pages (word processing mode) using either of Paste, or Paste and Match Style. The Keynote text box will be scaled horizontally to fit within the Pages margins when pasted.
