Blocking Contact in MacMail Junk Folder

I've started blocking contact in my junk folder (was getting 30+ per day). Now (3 weeks later), I see many blocked contact symbols (red circle) in Junk mailbox, but now I am getting 100+ per day including the blocked ones.

Questions: How can I get the blocked contact emails (junk and regular) to automatically land in Trash; so I don't have to manually move them to trash?

Also, what is the symbol in gray that shows a trash bag with a "X" in it mean.

Can I sort the mail by the blocked contact or trash X symbol?

Can I assume if I do it on my Mac, that it will sync to iCloud, iPhone and iPads on the same Apple account? BTW, I am talking about a M1 MacMini on Ventura and how it applies to 3 legacy Macs, iPads, and iPhone 6; and iPhone 13 mini. Devices and topics did not include all these.

thanks for the links WinsC1. Those links refer to "inbox" - I don't have the issue with my regular inbox, id'ing junk... My issue is with the Junk inbox where I have identified and marked dozens of email address "block contact." Those blocked content emails still show up in my Junk inbox with the red symbol indicting they are blocked. I have confirmed with settings on my computer (M1 Mini...), iPhone (13 mini), and legacy iPad mini - all on the latest os available on each device. I have specified each device to move blocked items to trash. I hoped this would "sync" the instruction and make it happen, but I am getting 90 blocked, and 10 new junk emails daily. How do I make the blocked contact junk mail go to trash automatically? Is it possible?

Thought: Can the issue be with the iCloud account? – where I have not found the settings to have the iCloud deal with blocked junk mail in junk inbox. Would such a setting complete the synchronization necessary to the blocked junk to be trashed? -Mike
