Emails from blocked contacts still go to Junk folder and not to Trash folder

In the Mail app on MacOS, going to Settings->Junk Mail->Blocked, I have "When email from blocked address arrives:" set to "Move it to the Trash".


But the emails from the blocked contact still goes to Junk folder and not to trash folder. I tried rebooting in Safe Mode and that did not fix the problem (I saw this as a solution to another post of the same question, so I tried it). Any ideas about how to solve this problem? Thank you in advance!

Same Issue on 2 Apple M-Class computers running Ventura 13.1


It seems to be misleading to " Term " it Move to Trash but it does not going to Trash


Now, this is my personal opinion, this maybe inapt by design.


It will give the User, like you and me, to actually review the Junk before moving to Trash with the eventual Empty Trash


If this does not appeals to you,


Then have a few suggestions ;


1 - Get Support Choose a product and we’ll find you the best solution.Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are Apple Employees to deal will these types of issues . 


2 - Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing issue


On one or two occasions, it was a life saver as something Important was Blocked and in Junk.
