iPhone was jailbroken so I did a DFU restore

So I did a DFU restore to remove the jailbreak but when I went to setup the iPhone these preferences were taken from my old phone even though I didn’t transfer anything. Could this bring jailbroken files to my iPhone?

Hello finlay274,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

This article can go over setting up your device, which includes some of those settings: Set up your iPhone or iPad

If you believe this may be a mistake, you can set up your device again using these steps:

"1.Tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device]

Then tap Erase All Content and Settings.

Erase All Content and Settings from your iPhone

2.If asked, enter your passcode or Apple ID password

Then confirm that you want to erase your device. Forgot your passcode or Apple ID password?

3.Wait for your device to erase

Depending on your device, it can take a few minutes to completely erase your data."

As outlined here: How to factory reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Hopefully this helps.

Cheers!
