update 16.3.2 destabilized the Apple TV. is there a fix?

the 16.3.2 update put the TV in a loop as if the internet was off (strong gigabit signal all other devices, including another AppleTV running version 16.3.1). The TV keeps saying "no internet detected," searching with black screen/swirl and shutting off all signals to the tv screen so that the smart tv shows red on/off switch next to source and brings up source-connection dialog. Then the AppleTV turns the signal back on in a loop. Is there a fix? Can I go back to earlier version? does Apple try ANY of this stuff out before releasing?
