Hello, recently, I downgraded from IOS 16.3.1 to 15.6. The downgrade was successful. I restored all my data from my backup (on my PC), but somehow, I have all my data (photos, apps, etc..) but my messages don’t appear.

I'm aware of no supported means to get from iOS 16 to iOS 15.6 (as mentioned above), so what happened there is unclear. Factory reset and restore the iPhone to iOS 16.3.1, and see if the messages are again present. There were changes to Messages with recent versions—find out if whatever happened with the downgrade corrupted or lost the messages.

Downgrading isn't supported by Apple.
