Is sleep HRV measured by Apple Watch Ultra relevant?

After some strange sleep HRV readings, I started to document myself and found out that the
Apple Watch only reads a few times a night, which could make it less relevant (or even irelevant).
I read that other devices use other methods or more continuous readings (the Oura ring) which makes
it more accurate. I am not a specialist, just tell what I understand in plain words. There are
several articles on internet on this topic. Anyway, these articles are older and I wonder if
Apple has solved these issues related to HRV in the meantime?
It's still a health problem that can make you panic..

is not about smbd being so ill, is about an app that is not working properly based on Health readings, as I read in different articles on internet. It is states there: with several readings during a night as Apple Watch does, HRV might not be accurate due to different factors. So, Apple should read them as often as necessary to be accurate I suppose, not because people are ill. People do not have to go to doctor because health apps that are not accurate, don't you think?

"it would be foolish to pick a single data point (or just a few) and use those as something representative of the physiological stress level for this person."

"HRV is highly influenced by acute stressors (because your autonomic nervous system is!), hence the importance of the ‘morning routine’, measuring as soon as you wake up (or using the whole night of data, something that currently only the Oura ring does)."

"we have seen that night data automatically collected is of little use, "

I cannot answer about ring, ask them.

If you are so ill that you need continuous heart monitoring I suggest you talk with a doctor or reach out to Apple Support directly. You should be able to reach them here
