I am using Freeform on Mac and iPad Pro; sharing on iCloud is very convenient but for work organisation and archiving reasons I would need to locate the Freeform work file and be able to transfer it out of iCloud to another remote server. It would be convenient to be able to have the Freeform editable file, not just the pdf export.
Is this possible or will it be possible in the future?

If your document is in iCloud and your document is not saved on your computer, you can download it from iCloud.com and upload to your desired location. To download the file to your computer:
"On your Mac or PC
in the upper corner of the window. If you want to download your photo or video as it was originally captured or imported, choose Unmodified Original. For JPEG or H.264 format — including edits, and even if it was originally in HEIF or HEVC format — choose Most Compatible.*If your photos download as a ZIP archive, learn how to uncompress the folder on your Mac or your PC. "
This data is found in Download iCloud photos and videos.
You can also archive iCloud data as mentioned in Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud.
