iWatch won't unpair

I have a new iPhone and iWatch. I successfully paired the two, but my iWatch was not getting information from my phone. I reset my iWatch and now it wants to pair with my phone, but my phone shows it already paired. I deleted my iWatch from my iCloud devices, but my phone still shows the watch. I cannot unpair watch because the option is grayed out. I've tried restarting both devices and logging out/in from my apple account.

I have deleted the watch already from my iCloud. It's still showing up on my phone as searching for the watch.

If you tried both lf these methods:

  • See the 'How to erase your Apple Watch if you don't have your iPhone' section of:

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support

  • With a web browser, go to: https://www.iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Open Find My iPhone and select All Devices (at the top). Then click your Apple Watch, select 'Erase Apple Watch', and select Next until the device is erased. Finally click "X" next to remove your Apple Watch.

and you still can't unpair the watch then your best option may be to make an appointment at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store near you and let them look at it. If that is not possible, use the online Apple Support option. Either way:
