My child is set up with family sharing, but her Apple Music is not showing up in her library

She is signed into her Apple ID in Apple Music; she is signed in on my side through family sharing. But she isn’t connecting with the Apple Music subscription

Is the Apple Music Family subscription showing up for other members of your Family Sharing group?


If so, we recommend the following steps on your daughters device:


"On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings > [your name].
  2. Tap Media & Purchases.
  3. Tap Sign Out.
  4. Tap Media & Purchases again.
  5. Tap Not [your name]?, then sign in with the Apple ID that you use for Family Sharing.

On your Mac

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. In the menu bar, choose Store > Sign Out.
  3. In the menu bar, choose Store > Sign In.
  4. Sign in with the same Apple ID that you use for Family Sharing."

If you can't find your family's shared content - Apple Support


Signing out and back in can often times resolve issues like the one you've described.
