Video player - Landscape

Today I’m wondering how I can make my iPhone automatically open videos in landscape view. I like to keep my rotation lock on while using my phone, but when I play any video in safari and make it full screen, it automatically opens the video in portrait view. This makes me unlock my screen rotation to get the video to show in landscape, but sometimes when i move around it flips the screen when I dont want it to. Was hoping there was a solution to this problem. I am using an iPhone 13 on iOS 16.2.
