iPhone screen won’t rotate when watching videos in Safari.

I’m trying to watch the Bullet Train movie but the video won’t play in landscape when I rotate the phone. I made sure that portrait mode is off and it still won’t rotate. It works fine for apps like YouTube but won’t for videos in Safari.

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16

Hi Strider1-1,

If you're using Safari to watch videos, it's possible that the website you're using to watch the movie doesn't support screen rotation.

If you're able to view other webpages in Safari in landscape mode, and you're able to view other apps in landscape mode, then the issue with screen rotation is isolated to the website itself, and you'll want to get in touch with the web developer to report your concern.

Take care.
