How do I use USB tethering from my android phone to Macbook Pro.....in MacOS 13 Ventura?

Regarding tethering via USB from an Android to a Mac, it's not possible. You can view details below and from the Android support page here: Share a mobile connection by hotspot or tethering on Android


"Tether by USB cable


Important: Mac computers can't tether with Android by USB.

  1. Connect your phone to the other device with a USB cable. A notification shows at the top of the screen.
  2. On your phone, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  3. Touch and hold Hotspot.
  4. Turn on USB tethering."
