You can't connect an iPhone to any computer to provide Wifi. You use Hotspot, which is a service provided by your carrier. Typically, you either have to an unlimited data plan to be able to set up a Hotspot, but check with your carrier to see if they offer the service and what, if any costs you may have to pay.
