Picard & Paramount + subscription

I am trying to view season 2 of Picard and being asked to pay. I currently have an active P + subscription through Apple TV and was able to watch Season 1 at no cost. Why am I being asked to pay for season 2? I am in Canada

Verify that Paramount+ is still listed as an active subscription for your Apple ID account. See your subscriptions overview - Apple.

When you go to the Paramount+ Channel in the Apple TV app, then select the Picard show, then select Season 2, episode 1, then that should have the Paramount+ tv channel as default content provider, not requiring you to buy anything, if you have that subscription.

I am located in Canada.

Yes, you mentioned that before. Does your Apple ID account also match for Canada? US residents with US Apple ID might not get access to (all of) their US services when abroad. Only saying where you are located is just half of the puzzle piece. There is Paramount+ in Canada, but that is not exchangeable with Paramount+ in any other country.

Try removing ‘Picard’ from Up Next. How to do that, depends on the device. On what device is this happening?

Then let the TV app add it again automatically, by going to the Paramount+ channel (if you have the channel subscription) and select S02E01 there.

I currently have an active P + subscription

The Paramount+ subscription as started in the Apple TV app for the Paramount+ channel, is different from a Paramount+ subscription started in the Paramount+ app. And both of these are different from subscriptions for the same content through Paramount+ directly. These 3 types of subscriptions have different terms and conditions, different perks and limitations, and are mostly not exchangeable as such. Please indicate which type you have.

I have P+ on Apple TV App on my MacBook Air and I am located in Canada. I was able to watch S1 of Picard when I signed up for free trial of P+ but now it is asking me to pay for S2 even though I have an active subscription for P+ (which I signed up for after the 7 day trial expired).

Regarding removing the show from Up Next, the Picard show it is not actually there.
