How to fix this: Apple TV iTunes TV Show app "An unexpected error occurred." on Apple TV 4K (4th Gen)

Apple TV with v16.3.1, or v16.3.2.

When I use the TV Show app to watch any Star Trek tv series, Babylon 5, and a few other programs, I get this error only on my Apple TV, iTunes TV Shows app.

The error message: "An unexpected error occurred."

I've tried all the basics to resolve but no change at all. Same shows but not all, same errors.

I have not seen this problem with iTunes Movies app....yet.

Seperately, I've noticed when you reset the appletv, it won't do a full reset (original v13.1.1?), it will only reset to the existing firmware! Regardless of which you choose... I've done this on v16.3.1 (and just today again with v16.3.2). Looks like a "bug".

HELP!

Thanks for the input. The problem "unexpectedly" appears to have fixed itself?

Without doing anything since posting, the shows are now available.

I think there was something going on behind the scenes...who knows. Apple's ghost hands in play. lol

I don't have a Library either. Is that maybe on the Apple+ menu?

I go straight into the TV Shows app. It has a Favorites...but this wouldn't help

since you have to be able to enter into the program series to add to the Favorites,

if it's the same for adding to a Library. I'm not familiar with Library.

Try accessing your Library content in the TV app instead, as a workaround.

You can report your issue to Apple. Feedback - Apple TV - Apple.

You can seek assistance from the Apple Support staff.

‘Library’ should be one of the tabs in the TV app on your Apple TV box.
