File sort in Venturer 2.2

I sort my files (irrespective of kind) by name. Folders and files of adjacent alphanumeric order showed in a single list.

Grouping by ‘none’ gave a simple name order irrespective of file kind.

It appears after update that Venturer 13.2 forces the sort to name AND kind (i.e. all folders & aliases are displayed above document and image files). Grouping by ‘none’ does not change this.

I want to restore the ability to sort by name only, so that folders and files of adjacent show in a single list.

Does anyone have this issue or a solution?

If I understand your question, uncheck "In windows when sorting by name" in Finder > Settings… > Advanced under "Keep folders on top:"
