Folders not behaving as expected

HI,

Until recently and possibly even up to the latest release of Ventura - 13.2 - the spreadsheet files in a Folder would list themselves in alphabetic order making them easy to find. Now they are out of order according to which file I opened most recently. These are put back at the top of the list. I am not aware of making any changes so I am wondering why this is happening and can I get these Folders back to listing contents in alphabetic order ?
