Dolby Atmos Version Plays Even When Setting Is OFF
I recently purchased a stereo pair of 2nd Generation HomePods.
Whenever I play an album that has a Dolby Atmos version available, the Dolby Atmos version of songs played via Apple Music always plays even when the Dolby Atmos setting is turned OFF.
Following the steps in HT212182 regarding how to Turn Dolby Atmos on or off does not resolve the issue. Music will play in Dolby Atmos even if the setting is in the OFF position.
Steps To Reproduce:
- Toggle “Dolby Atmos” OFF within iOS “Music” settings and Home app “Music” settings.
- Play music on HomePod via Siri or the iOS Home app
- Music will play in Dolby Atmos even though the Dolby Atmos setting is switched OFF.
All of my HomePods and iPhone software is up to date. Resetting the HomePods does not resolve the issue. Restoring the HomePods to factory settings and reconfiguring them does not resolve the issue. Setting up a new Home and reconfiguring everything does not resolve the issue.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
