Delete all contacts custom labels

Unable to delete so many custom contacts labels off of iPhone 1:

iPhone 13, iOS 16

Custom labels are all gone after 16.4 update Hello, all custom labels in the contact app are gone and have been reset to label 'Iphone' .. when i go into the section to select a custom label all previously added labels are all gone , i had put a lot of time in this im having over 240 contacts and all those custom lbales are all missing .. is there a way to get this back ? , i have contacts in the cloud turned on and i have selected contacts from icloud and no custom labels anywhere. We understand that you want to delete contacts that have a custom label. We are happy to help.

Please open the Contacts app. Go to Lists > Edit > Tap delete. Here’s additional information on managing contacts: Manage and delete contacts on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
