I previewed this book (Broken) and it apparently broke the widget! I’ve removed it from Reading Now and it doesn’t appear when I open the app but I can’t get it off the widget. Not even by opening and starting another book. I’ve removed and readied the widget. I’ve restarted my phone! I don’t know what else to do and I’m sick of looking at this book.

Having the same issue, and it’s stuck on a book with a rather embarrassing title. Anyone know a fix to this or do we just have to wait for the next update?
I’m having similar issues with widget. My biggest issues are related to book/audio book covers not loading on widget. I’ve restarted phone, deleted app, deleted widget, signed in and out of Apple Books, deleted book, reinstalled book, toggled on off location, privacy, etc… Any ideas?
Same issue! It even happens to the movies & tv show covers.. I tried everything , including erasing my phone and starting fresh. I don’t think we can fix it. I think Apple will have to patch it in a coming update.
